Global Warming—Why Fear?
A Message from Raphael, Johar, & Simon Channeled through Anita Burns
Johar and Simon: We know we have written before about fear, but it seemed an appropriate time to revisit it considering the increased level of fear throughout your world these days. With global warming, unrest in your middle eastern countries, governments all over the world struggling just to keep their citizens from ruin and their countries from crumbling, there seems to be enough to fear. And now, you have the influenza to top off your list.
Fear is a difficult concept for us. If it were not for the remembrance of once being in a human body, it would be impossible for us to conceive of such an emotion. Fear is that emotion that signals a danger to your accustomed level of worldly comfort and perhaps to your physical survival as well. We would like to address each of the fear sources mentioned above in a series of messages. Perhaps this can help relieve some of your fears and help guide you through the maze of complexities facing you today.
In this message, we will address global warming.
Global Warming
Johar: Your planet is changing. Yes, it is in the midst of change in the way it distributes heat, cold, moisture, and aridness. The consequences of this might be dramatic in some ways and inconsequential in others. Although your planet has been through this before, even recently in your recorded history, this will affect you in a more dramatic way.
Why? Because when these cycles came around before, your population was small and dependent upon smaller amounts of resource. It was easier just to pick up and move your home. You were not as globally dependent upon governments, manufactured goods, and technology.
Dependency on Modern Supply Chain
Simon: You were more self-reliant. Today, the world is run by global manufactured goods, cars, televisions, pre-made foods, trucking, airplanes, oil drilling, and so forth just to keep you warm, clothed, and fed. You have divorced yourself from the natural world and created a dependency on a chain of supply that involves a global cooperation for your existence as you now know it.
Johar: Is this a bad thing? Not necessarily. You also have many advantages that your ancestors did not have. Although you cannot just dismantle your hut, pick up your spears and move inland when the waters rise, you can, as a global people, use your technology to reverse much of the dangers and damage that global warming can bring. You can, with global cooperation, “weather” this with little consequence such as starvation when crops no longer grow when they did before. Your ancestors did not know about greenhouses, ways to manipulate seeds, or how to mass produce animals for food. Keep in mind that we are not taking a stand for or against vegetarianism.
Simon: That is, as they say, another show.
Counter Measures
Raphael: Also, remember, that no disaster, short of your sun going Nova will ever destroy all life on this planet that was so painstakingly created for your life cycles. We in the, what you call angelic realm, are also working toward normalizing and compensating for the global warming. Much of the increased volcanic activity is meant to counteract the greenhouse effect and keep your planet cooler without creating another ice age. It is a delicate operation but can be done.
What can an Individual Do?
Johar: In the meantime, what can you, as an individual do? Remember that you are not really an individual, but a part of the universal consciousness. You are linked with every consciousness, physical and spiritual. By actively using your mind (not brain) to address balance and cooperation between nations in how energy is used and in reducing waste, toxins, and pollutions, you can and already have made a difference.
Simon: Remember, you are NOT powerless. Your intentions, broadcast by meditation, or physical actions, DO help. Do what you can to reduce your “footprint” in the world by following common sense practices at home and in your work. Meditate alone and with groups to help bring about more global awareness of the importance of changing wasteful, toxic, practices and you can turn this around to avert the most disastrous possible results.
Raphael: Call upon us, the angels to help clear the way for your intentions and meditations to reach the minds and hearts of all. We are here for you, but cannot act independent of your petitions. We can carry your thoughts like the wind and settle them where they are most needed.
All: Thank you for the light that you all bring.
Namaste.
