The Mother of all Mantras—GAYATRI
The Gayatri is an invocation or mantra taken from very ancient scripture called the Vedas. This mantra is balanced in its wording in such a way that the successive sounds of the syllables and words produce the right vibration and frequency to create an etheric pipeline between the chanter and the divine source.
For many ages, the Gayatri has been invoked and utilized by those who are now Masters of Wisdom for the purpose of enlightenment. To enlighten, means to release the hidden spark of the Divine within each atom.
Enlightenment is not a sudden burst of all knowing but takes place in seven stages of expansion of consciousness and awareness.
The first enlightenment is personality enlightenment.
In this when you feel that you are in contact with a great reality within yourself. This awareness charges your physical, mental and astral to such a degree that a purification process takes place within these bodies. An inner purifying fire causes integration— a flow of energy—between these bodies to make them receptive to inner guidance.
The second enlightenment is called soul enlightenment.
The human awareness unit contacts the Inner Guide causing the human awareness to feel that it is the true Self, the God within. The Light of the Solar Angel (High Self) reveals this mystery to the human. You feel that you are no longer a personality but the God within.
This is true resurrection from the physical, astral and mental bodies and the entrance into the real Self. Thus the true I AM no longer identifies with the personality vehicles and knows its true reality. From that time on, you radiate beauty and love
throughout all your actions.
The third enlightenment is called spiritual enlightenment.
During this stage, you come into contact with the innermost center within, the Monad, the true spark of God which is the awareness of the indwelling God. This contact releases a great stream of the energies of Light, Love and Power from the spiritual triad and this energy radiates from your physical, emotional, and mental self as Light, as Joy, and as Power.
In this stage you do not identify with anything that belongs to the “not-self” ( the personality). Nor you depend on any outer support or help. The true Self is the fountainhead of all that is needed in your life. A strong, clean and clear attractor field has been created to effortlessly bring you abundant supply for all needs.
The fourth enlightenment is a planetary enlightenment.
Here, your consciousness embraces all of existence through an understanding of the oneness of all things.
The fifth enlightenment is solar enlightenment.
This enables us to come into contact with each planetary chakra within this solar system. This means that you are then able to travel in your higher bodies to the heart of any planet, to commune with the consciousness of the Master Spirit who exists as the Logos of that planet.
The sixth enlightenment is divine plan.
This is when the Grand Plan and Purpose is revealed to you.
The seventh enlightenment is freedom.
Now you are free to exist in Cosmic Space.
The Gayatri Mantra
The Gayatri Mantra is designed to assist us in moving through these enlightenments more quickly and in safety. It is the invocation for enlightenment. When the Gayatri is spoken with focus on its meaning, its energies flow to that Galactic Central Spiritual Sun.
Three Suns
There are three Suns within each Sun:
The physical Sun that we see with our eyes.
The Heart of the Sun that expresses within us as will and empowerment.
The Spiritual Sun that embraces our spiritual power.
In the universe, there are thousands upon millions of suns, including the creator of all Suns within our galaxy, which is situated in the center of the Milky Way.
Our Sun
The Sun of our Solar System is the source of heat, light, vitality, energy, and life for all on the planet Earth. It is also the powerhouse of great Wisdom.
The Sun is the body of a Master spirit who sacrifices its freedom to nourish planets and the billions of life forms in its solar system space. It is called the “Great Sacrifice” by the Masters. Planetary Masters are ancient spirits, who have no body, but embody the consciousness of a planet or star.
The Master within the Sun directs the life giving rays which nourish not only all physical life forms, but also numberless entities who exist on different etheric planes and spheres. Don’t confuse the work of a Master spirit with having a human-like consciousness, it is an animating life rather than a reasoning one.
The Central Spiritual Sun
The Galactic Central Spiritual Sun also exists at the center of our galaxy and in a resonating form within each living body, from microbe to human. When our personality self comes into contact with the Sun within, enlightenment spiritual clarity is achieved. When the human soul comes into contact with the heart of the Sun, enlightenment is received in the form of Love Wisdom. When our innermost Self comes into contact with the Central Spiritual Sun, we move into ultimate spiritual empowerment—enlightenment.
Enlightenment
When enlightenment is complete, it is this Central Spiritual Sun that draws to itself all life sparks scattered throughout this solar system. Enlightenment creates magnetism. Those who are enlightened at any stage of the process, magnetically draw other humans to them, and those drawn attain enlightenment to the degree they are able.
When groups are enlightened, they are drawn to each other and cooperate with each other. When nations are enlightened they fuse with each other forming a great center of Light. When humanity is enlightened it will be one humanity, with no boundaries of separation.
Chanting the Gayatri
The Gayatri indicates that by chanting the words, we will begin to feel the Light, the Love, and the Power of the Galactic Central Sun. This feeling reveals our path, our purpose, our goal, and our destination. To achieve this, we must repeat the Gayatri with reverence and understanding of its message.
Our Solar Sun is a conduit for the Galactic Central Sun.
The ancients taught that it is helpful to be outside, in the sunshine and mentally draw the rays of the Solar Sun into our physical body, imagining the rays of the Heart of the Sun entering our emotional or astral body and flooding it with light. Next, imagining our mental body and higher bodies being flooded with light from the Galactic Central Spiritual Sun.
The words of the Gayatri:
Om
Om Bhur
Om Buhva
Om Swaha
Om Maha
Om Sathyam
Om Tat Saviture Varinyam
Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi
Dihyo yo Naht Prachodayat
Loosely translated:
OM, All of you who are on Earth,
Mid world and Heaven, let us meditate
Upon the Light, Love and Power
Of the Divine Sun of Life
To enlighten our souls.
Notice that it does not say “give me light, love, power,” but let us meditate upon the Light, Love and Power.
Meditation on Light, Love and Power
There are many forms of meditation for different purposes, but for the purpose of enlightenment, there is none better than meditating on Light, Love, and Power, which are all the same energy and a part of each other, they are in truth, One.
Meditation is reception, digestion and assimilation of Light so that you become light through assimilating, absorbing and becoming light. You are trying to release the light within and stoke the sleeping fires within yourself.
You receive light according to the depth of your meditation. Light increases in you as your meditation rises from physical to non-physical frequencies of existence.
A Call for All Beings
The Gayatri is a call for all beings on all realms, from physical to etheric to meditate each day at sunrise and sunset. Meditate upon the Galactic Central Spiritual Sun and upon the Sun within the heart chakra, which houses the true Self within each of us. Once contact is established with the True Inner Self, we will have found the eternal path and power to proceed on that path.
Higher Plane Beings
There are beings of light on many planes of existence in the physical and spirit worlds that human are usually unaware. These are on the vibrational worlds that are often called the higher astral, mental, buddhic, and causal planes. These beings of light constantly invoke the Galactic Central Spiritual Sun and act as a conduit for its power. Meditate on these Beings as if you were sitting in a circle with them, meditating together. See and feel them as sparks of light around you and within you.
When you meditate with them, the light within you grows stronger, and you, in turn, increase the light of all beings who are less spiritually aware. In this way, you form a group, a center, to invoke and evoke light.
Astral Plane
On the astral plane, where most humans live after physical life, there are countless souls who need light and guidance. And, on the denser after life planes, there are those who dwell in darkness who benefit when you meditate on the Suns through the Gayatri. They are still trapped in their emotional bodies and your light will help them move out of the dark etheric and toward the mid astral where they may then reincarnate and proceed to their enlightenment path.
On the astral plane, where most humans live after physical life, desires immediately materialize and this keeps many millions trapped there in their desires, not wanting to go further. Light sent there aids the souls to realize their predicament and seek to rise higher into more lighted planes.
When you meditate upon light, on the Galactic Central Spiritual Sun, through the Gayatri, your light projects into the astral and mental planes and into these dark realms of existence. Entities found in these spheres, eventually find this light, awaken and realize they must proceed upon the path into higher states of enlightenment.
Rainbow Bridge
Meditating with the Beings of Light builds a bridge (called the “Rainbow Bridge”) between the planes and lets the energy circulate between them. Energy circulation unifies your efforts and allows those meditating to share the blessings invoked through the meditation.
As we meditate on the Suns through the Gayatri, the channels between us and the
Galactic Central Sun grow stronger and wider, and light increasingly pours into us. The
increasing light gradually releases us from limitations on all planes and helps us fuse our consciousness with the Sun.
Through the Gayatri, an intense aspiration is kindled in the heart, of the heart, of the disciple to search and work for the illumination of his or her soul. Illumination is a progressive advancement from matter to spirit, from the lower planes toward the higher planes.
Three Parts
The Gayatri is divided into three parts:
All of you on Earth, mid world and heaven
Let us meditate upon Light, Love and Power of the divine Sun of Life
To enlighten our souls.
The first part stands for the synchronization of the physical, astral and mental bodies and their worlds and their inhabitants. With the first part you are sending your call to those on these planes who aspire to be part of your group meditation, to meditate with you.
It often happens that if you forget or miss your meditation you will receive inner reminders from those of your invisible group. Thus you create a relationship between you and those in physical bodies who join you in their subtle bodies; those from the astral planes who need light to proceed to higher planes; and those in the mental plane who want to inspire you or who want to receive inspiration to further the enlightenment of their souls.
The inhabitants of these planes may be human souls, devas or great angels who like to join you and your friends in meditation. Eventually your meditation group becomes an ashram, a class, in which you give and receive instruction, light, love and power.
The supreme obligation of each disciple is to establish conscious contact with the Central Sun and the fastest way is with the Gayatri.
Follow these steps for the quickest results:
- Relax, sit peacefully, calmly.
- Concentrate as high as possible on the mental or Buddhic plane.
- Feel silence deep within.
- Visualize sparks of Light, souls, from physical, astral and mental planes sitting around you all in a circle, ready for meditation.
- Sound the Gayatri in a slow, steady pace, understanding the meaning behind each word, staying focused. As you sound the Gayatri, visualize both the sparks (souls) and the Central Sun. See rays touching every spark and causing them to shine in great light until you see the entire group as a unified field of light.
- Think about the Sun within you, (your indwelling spark of Godlight)
- Think about the Central Spiritual Sun and your relationship with it.
- Let your soul be enlightened with all the other souls, radiating light in multicolor rays and fragrance. You may visualize your soul as a drop of light that extends a beam of light, penetrating the Central Sun.
- Visualize a stream of light from the Sun coming through the beam of light toward the drop of light.
- See the drop of light expanding and turning into an ocean of light, purifying and healing all your bodies and blessing all your environment. A great healing process may take place now if you are attuned to light.
- See the sun pouring light all over the world and say: “Let light stream forth into the minds of all, let Light descend on Earth’.
- Return to normal consciousness.
Gayatri’s Protective Nature
When you repeat the Gayatri, especially in its Sanskrit form, you create a tremendous, unique vibration, a protective shield around you, through which no low or hostile vibration can reach you. You will build upon this shield each time you repeat the Gayatri with solemnity and joy. Also, it is necessary, that as you invoke more light, you do not act against light in your daily life. Invoking greater light may create huge problems in your nature if you resist light and hinder it in your actions, words and thoughts. You cannot invoke light and fight against it. The Gayatri is a protective mantram because it unifies you with the Source. Only in unity does fear disappear and allow safety to build.
Practice
Practice every day if you can, repeating the Gayatri at least seven times, increasing to 21 or, at maximum, 108 times. If, however, you can’t practice everyday, any repetition of the Gayatri is better than none. Do what you can. The benefits are cumulative. However, when you begin to practice, you will find that it feels so good, and that you are receiving such benefits in your inner and outer life, that you will probably look forward to your time each day with the Gayatri.
