All Things In the Universe
by Johar and Simon as channeled through Anita Burns
Although, as a spiritual seeker, you might hear the words “All things in the Universe are one” often, does it sink in? Does it get applied in a real way in your life? Or is it just something you allow your “feel good” centers to bask in for the moment, then forget?
All things in the Universe ARE ONE—from the One source is something you can filter through everything you think, do, and be. It will change your life. It will free you. It will give you comfort, empowerment, peace.
All things in the Universe are one, and yet there is an awesome order and structure in its existence. This order is an intricate complexity that can be a difficult for the unawake and unaware. They often become lost in its seeming contradictions. For some people it is easier to lay back and be told what to do—what is right and wrong, that there is a savior who will lead them beside still waters. How relaxing to let it be someone else’s problem and responsibility to ease your pain. But this is a dead end road.
Ultimately, you will awaken, smell the roses, as it is said. You will realize that you are the center of the universe after all and that you are the one who makes or breaks your life. How? By your decisions, by your actions, by your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and fears.
LEARNING
This is not an easy road, but a necessary one. It is one of connecting to your true, inner wisdom. Discerning your truth from your emotional desires and fears. Be cautious about trusting what you hear and read, though.
When you read esoteric, spiritual, or new age literature, attend classes, or listen to lectures, keep in mind that unless the material is channeled directly from a high source, or presented by someone who has made a strong connection to the clear light of wisdom and truth, the information must go through the author’s/speakers mental filters of understanding and interpretation.
From all books, readers, teachers, and psychics, take what you feel is right and keep the rest in a neutral place until you can either verify it’s correctness or redefine it to your understanding of it. Do not reject, out of hand, information that you don’t understand, or that somehow negates a previous belief. Beliefs must be held loosely. Only use them until something else proves to be a better tool for progress.
As you grow and move along on your path of unfoldment, you will gain more and more ability to know the word of the Source from the word of human mind and emotions. A map and a logical structure will become apparent.
THE WUMPUS
This path of unfolding can be likened to an old computer game titled “Find the Wumpus.” A mythical creature is hiding in an underground cave with many rooms and passageways. The map of the Wumpus’ abode is in the computer memory. When playing the game, you move through the cave, looking for the Wumpus.
This would be easy if it were not for the fact that only the part of the cave you are in at the moment is revealed to you visually. You only see a piece at a time and it is up to you to learn, from that, the complete map of the Wumpus cave.
The longer you play the game, the more of the map you know. This is like spiritual unfoldment. At first you are only aware of one piece—physical existence. Then, as you are reborn and reborn, you learn more and more about the totality of existence.
This is correct and right, for just as a small child is incapable of understanding the complexities of adult thinking, the new soul is not able to grasp the complexities of the Universe.
MERRY OLD SOULS
The religions humans have created to worship “God”—in whatever form the originator of the religion perceived their God—contain simplified truths of cosmic law. Never scorn these for they fulfill an important function in the order of unfoldment.
Infant, Baby, and Young souls have the same need to feel connected to the Source that Mature and Old souls feel, but their level of understanding is such that they must seek this in a simple form residing outside themselves.
Therefore, the Source, i.e. God, is externalized and for some, stern and vengeful. For others, this God is loving and forgiving. They have a need to gather together and feel the power of God’s love. They are preparing for the time when they can dissolve the illusion of separation and know that the Source/God is truly within.
The churches, synagogues, and temples they attend have a higher energy/spiritual frequency than the people who attend them experience in their everyday lives. By attending, they raise their own energy frequency, at least temporarily. For a moment at least, they “let go and let God.”
When you awaken to your own divinity, you may still want to gather with others of like-mind. This is called Satsang, and is always a positive thing for your life. Just be sure that the “others” you gather with are in harmony with you and of like-mind. Don’t be afraid to leave old acquaintances and friends behind if they no longer nourish you life and your spirit. You can be of better service to them if you Let Go and Let God. Never cleave to groups or people if you don’t feel safe or are afraid of revealing who you really are and what you really believe.
Namaste.
