Planetary Arrangements

First notice the way the planets are arranged around the wheel. Are they close together, or separated? Are there more above the horizon or below; more on the Occidental or Oriental side of the chart? Are they clumped together, or put in pairs or trios?

The four sections in a chart are: Diurnal (7-12), Nocturnal (1-6), Occidental (4-9), and Oriental (10-3). Refer to lessons 1 & 2 to review this.

Note where the majority of the ten planets (include Sun and Moon as planets) are located by sections. Each section contains an angular house and it is the nature of the houses in the sections holding most of the planets which will be an overall theme in the person’s security and opportunities in life.
